We are sisters, born and raised in Patagonia, Argentina, and now stablished in Barcelona. Growing up, we were immersed in a world of craftsmanship—almost everything from food, stoneware, and textiles to furniture and home decor was handmade and deeply cherished. Every corner of our home told a unique story.
Charco is our bridge, connecting you to a universe of craftsmanship filled with meaning, heritage, and joy.

The word “charco” comes from the Spanish phrase “cruzar el charco”, meaning "crossing the puddle"—a metaphor for traveling across the ocean. For us, crossing the charco from Patagonia to Barcelona symbolized a journey of courage, resilience, and joy. This transformative experience, combined with our passion for design, sustainability, and our personal story, inspired us to embark on this exciting and challenging project.
